The Iguana kiln is an excellent option for a multitude of Industrial applications where an extremely large firing chamber isn't required, yet the work requires a front-loading kiln. In Educational applications, many teachers find that their old top-load kiln is hard on the back, and easy to damage while using. At over 4 cubic ft. of interior space it is often the most practical, and economical choice for mid-size classrooms, and mid-size heat-treating work in Industrial use.
The Iguana only draws 48 amps in either 240V, or 208V configuration. In a School or University setting, sufficient wiring is very often already available, cutting down on the expense of replacing an older kiln.
The Paragon Iguana is powered with reliable extra heavy-duty elements. This results is long element life, because the elements do not struggle to reach high temperatures. 10,800 watts heat the 18” wide, 18” deep, 22 ½” high interior to a full cone 10 (2350F).
Easy to Load
The Iguana is easy on the back muscles. With the 22” optional stand (pictured), the interior floor height is a comfortable 34 ½”.
Quality construction
Industrial-gauge elements are seated and protected in dropped, recessed firebrick grooves. The elements are easy to replace, because you can comfortably reach into the kiln.

Other Available Options
The recommended Stand for the Iguana Paragon Kiln is a 22" stationary stand (pictured). However the kiln stand is available with locking casters if you may have a need to occasionally move the kiln.
The price shown is without the cost of a stand. Many Industrial users don't require a stand due to their particular work area configuration, but if a stand is needed, please inquire when you request a quote
The Iguana kiln can also be built with an Orton VentMaster Kiln Vent installed which can be programmed to operate through the Touch Screen Controller.
Though not an extremely large kiln, the applications are limitless, and there are thousands of Iguanas in operation all around the world.
