The W18 has a heavy-gauge stainless steel case to resist corrosion. Heating elements are recessed to protect the element, yet the element is still accessible for easy replacement. This furnace also includes a top vent with ceramic plug for lost wax burnout. A spring door latch tightly seals the door while permitting easy opening with one hand for removal of hot flasks.

Optional WWT18 Wax Tray and Grate

WAX TRAY AND GRATE, W18. Leave the heavy-duty grate in the kiln throughout the firing. Remove the wax trays at 300F/148C without disturbing the molds on the grate. The grate is carbon steel, and the pans are stainless steel.
